At one point, I read an anonymous letter to Neil Clark (when he was running for mayor) that had some very specific details about the operations with our water. One of the tings stated was that the set up at the lake couldn't handle our water need and they were using diesel pumps to supplement.
I think some upgrades were done at the lake since then, but I am not sure.
