“From My Point of View”: Naples Has Never Been Seen This Way Before

Presented at the 11th edition of the Visioni dal Mondo Festival in Milan, From My Point of View by Roberto Marra is a docufilm that invites the audience to experience a unique sensory journey, portraying Naples through the perception of Ivan Dalia, a blind musician and the film’s protagonist.

Produced and distributed by Rhapsodia Film, the feature explores reality from the perspective of someone who perceives its depth through sound, scent, and sensation rather than sight.

Alongside Dalia, the cast includes Giobbe Covatta, Pietro De Silva, and Gianni Ferreri.

Through a delicate interplay of image and sound, the film follows Ivan on an introspective journey through his hometown — an intimate, luminous, and vibrant Naples — where perception itself becomes music and every detail offers a new way of “seeing” the world.

“Sometimes it takes very little to change the colors of life. Sometimes.”
